چکیده

Climate change has caused breeders to focus on varieties that are able grow under unfavorable conditions, such as drought, high and low temperatures, salinity, other stressors. In recent decades, progress in biotechnology its related tools provided opportunities dissect decipher the genetic basis of tolerance various stress conditions. One approach is identification genomic regions linked with specific or multiple characteristics. Cereal crops have a key role supplying energy required for human animal populations. However, crop products dramatically affected by environmental stresses. Barley (Hordeum vulgare L.) one oldest domesticated cultivated globally. Research shown that, compared cereals, barley well adapted harsh There ample literature regarding these responses abiotic stressors, associated morpho-physiological biochemical traits tolerance. This review focuses (i) identifying mechanisms important stable growth development, (ii) applicability QTL mapping association analysis stress-tolerance traits, order help marker-assisted selection (MAS) quickly screen tolerant germplasms their breeding cycles. Overall, information presented here will inform assist future programs.

Determination of QTLs Associated with Agronomic and Physiological Traits under Normal and Salinity Conditions in Barley

mapping the QTLs of agronomic and physiological traits, 149 double haploid (DH) lines from a cross between an Australian cultivar, Clipper (salt susceptible), and an Algerian landrace, Sahara3771 (salt tolerant), were evaluated under natural saline (Yazd Station, ECsoil=10-12.8 ds/m and ECwater= 9-10 ds/m) and normal (Karaj Station, ECsoil and ECwater ~2-2.5 ds/m) environments. There were remar...

identification of qtls associated with agronomic and physiological traits under salinity stress in barley

salinity tolerance is a genetically and physiologically complex trait, controlled by quantitative trait loci (qtls). in order to map the qtls associated with agronomic and physiological traits, 149 doubled haploid lines derived from a cross between clipper (salt susceptible) and sahara 3771 (salt tolerant) barley genotypes were evaluated under natural saline-stress and non-stress conditions usi...

Evaluation of Genetic Diversity of َAgronomic and Physiological Traits in Wheat under Two Field Environments

This study was conducted to investigate the genetic diversity of bread wheat, durum wheat and triticale using agronomic and physiological traits. Genetic diversity of 24 genotypes was evaluated in 2 locations (Research Farm of College of Agriculture, Isfahan University of Technology, located at Lavark, Najaf-Abad and Asheghabad farm), Isfahan, Iran, using a randomized complete block design with...

Genomic Regions Influencing Seminal Root Traits in Barley.

Water availability is a major limiting factor for crop production, making drought adaptation and its many component traits a desirable attribute of plant cultivars. Previous studies in cereal crops indicate that root traits expressed at early plant developmental stages, such as seminal root angle and root number, are associated with water extraction at different depths. Here, we conducted the f...
